Agencia Marítima Española Evge SA is a leading shipping agency in the international maritime transport of containers, rolling cargo and project cargo, with an extensive and successful career since 1959, when it was founded in the city of Barcelona.
Evge have been able to adapt to the changes during all these years, and we continue to maintain our roots by focusing on a personalized service to our principals, clients, forwarders, collaborators and suppliers.

In 1959, Mr. Nicos-Vernicos Eugenides created the Spanish Shipping Agency A.M.E. EVGE SA, to assist the vessels of Niver Lines covering the South America Atlantic, West Africa and Black Sea Lines.
His descendants manage the Eugenides Group which has its head office in Athens and is currently managed by Mr Leonidas Demitriades Eugenides who coordinates the shipping agency together with the activity of the shipowner and the Eugenides Foundation which since 1956 contributes to scientific and technological education.
In the early 80’s, Evge Barcelona initiated contacts with Mr. Claude Vidil of Marfret exporting soybeans to Libya with regular service. As a result of this traffic, EVGE was honoured to be nominated agents of Marfret in Barcelona whom we still represent today.
During the following years, we were nominated as agents for WWO (Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean), EUKOR Car Car Carrier and ARC (American Roll-on roll-off Carrier) with whom we have continued to collaborate since their establishment in Barcelona.
During our professional career we have had the good fortune to represent METZ Container Line, Eurogypt, UECC, Setramar, SeaHorse Line, MCCL, Jumbo Shipping, WEC Lines among other shipowners.
More than 60 years have passed and Evge Barcelona is a reference in the port of Barcelona.
